SeniorLiving.Expert / The offer

The Texas Placement Intensive

A named shortlist of licensed Texas communities that actually have a bed for your person, with real prices in writing, verified by a human on the phone, inside two weeks.

$3,500Paid once, by you, and by nobody else

One fee, paid once, by you. Complex situations that need out-of-area search or expedited placement are quoted higher before any work starts, never after.

Who this is for: Families placing a parent or spouse in Texas assisted living or memory care who want the search done properly once, rather than fielding calls from six referral sites that sold their number.

What you actually get

A 90-minute intake with Erika, not a form

Care needs, the real budget, the geography that actually works for whoever visits, and the things families do not put in writing. This is the call that determines whether the rest is any good.

A written shortlist of five to eight licensed communities

Each one checked against the HHSC license record for current license status, type, capacity, and memory care certification, with the license number printed so you can verify it yourself.

Current availability, confirmed by phone, not by a database

Somebody calls every community on the shortlist and asks whether they have a bed, for this level of care, in this window. A directory cannot tell you that. This is most of the work.

Real pricing in writing from each community

Base rate, care level add-ons, community fee, and what triggers an increase. The number families get surprised by is almost never the base rate.

Tours scheduled, with Erika on the call

Tours booked around your schedule, with the questions to ask written out beforehand, and Erika reachable during or straight after each one.

Your residency agreement read before you sign it

Reviewed against the Texas disclosure requirements for assisted living, with anything unusual flagged in plain words. This is not legal advice and is not a substitute for a lawyer, and it is said that way to you too.

Thirty days of move-in coordination

The month after the decision is the month things go wrong. Medication lists, the move itself, the first care-plan meeting, and someone to call.

Your disclosures, in writing, before you pay anything

Texas law (Business and Commerce Code chapter 121) requires a senior living referral agency to give you these in a written document. Here they are on the page, not in a link you would have to go find.

What this service is
A paid advisory and placement service for families searching for senior living in Texas. Erika Crossley researches, verifies, shortlists, arranges tours, and coordinates the move. She does not own, operate, or manage any senior living community, and does not hold, and will not accept, a power of attorney for you or hold your property in any capacity.
Who pays the fee
You do, and only you. No senior living community, home health agency, or hospice pays anything for a referral, a placement, a ranking, or visibility of any kind. There is no commission behind any recommendation made to you.
You can stop at any time
You may stop using this service at any time, for any reason or none, without cause and without penalty. Work not yet performed is refunded.
The shortlist is not every community
The list you receive may not include all communities in the area that meet your stated preferences and needs. It is the set worth your time given what you said in intake, and every community on it is separately verifiable through the free directory and the state license record.
Only licensed communities
You will not be referred to an unlicensed facility. Every community on the shortlist carries a current Texas HHSC license, and its license number is printed for you to check.

Tell Erika what is happening

Enough detail that the first call is useful. She will tell you straight if this is not worth your money.

Your name, email, and phone are the only things stored, and they are used to answer you. Nothing is sold and nothing is shared with a provider unless you ask us to introduce you.
